How do I copy/paste a smiley?

There are two common ways of copying and pasting:

1) Mouse Copy: "Left Click" the box to highlight, then "Right Click" and click "Copy"
2) Mouse Paste: "Right Click" your page and click "Paste"

1) Keyboard Copy: "Left Click" the box to highlight and using the keyboard press "Ctrl" + "C"
2) Keyboard Paste: "Left Click" your page and using the keyboard press "Ctrl" + "V"

How do I use a smiley on MySpace, Orkut or Hi5?

Copy the code from Box 1 on the smileys page, and paste this into your page.

How do I use a smiley on Facebook?

Facebook doesn't allow users to post smiley image codes.

How do I use a smiley on a forum?

Copy the code from the Box 2 on the smileys page, and paste it into your forum message.

If the code from Box 2 doesn't work for you, copy the code from Box 3 and try again.

Note: Why the difference? Different forums use different tags for displaying smiley images.

How do I use a smiley on my Website, Blog or in my E-mail?

Copy the code from Box 1 on the smileys page, and paste this into your website, blog or e-mail.

How do I link directly to a smiley?

How do I save a smiley to my computer?

You can save a smiley to your computer by following the steps below:

1) Using your mouse "Right Click" on the smiley image you wish to save
2) Select & Click "Save Image As..."
3) Choose where you want to save the smiley. E.g. Desktop (Recommended)
4) Click "Save"

Note: If you are adding a smiley to a Instant Messenger program (Instructions below), you may delete it after you have added it

To use a smiley with MySpaceIM you must first add the smiley to your MySpaceIM. Do this by following the following steps:

1) Open MySpaceIM
2) Select "File"
3) Click "Preferences"
4) Click "Emoticons & Zaps"
5) Click "Add"
6) Locate the smiley you wish to add, and click "Open"
7) Type in a keyboard shortcut to use your new smiley. E.g. :smile: or :-)
8) Click "Save Changes" and you're done
